Hey, I’m Abby!

I am an avid adventurer, artist, designer, and photographer, currently living in Portland, ME. I have a passion for travel and am constantly seeking new experiences to challenge myself and expand my worldview. I love finding new ways to be creative and help others visualize their brand.

My creative journey has a strong foundation. In high school, I went through a period of obsessively sketching hands and taking millions of photos on my first “real” camera. I was introduced to Adobe Illustrator, and we’ve been best friends ever since. My creativity followed me to college at the University of Colorado, Boulder, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Environmental Design in 2019.  Four years of generating countless poster layouts of architectural plans and diagrams helped hone my skills in design.

After graduating - and a little travel and outdoor work - I started serving beer in the taproom at Stellwagen Beer Company. Upon seeing some of my work, the owner asked if I wanted to design their beer labels. I said yes, of course. As Stellwagen’s Graphic Designer, I designed beer labels and expanded their branding through new merchandise and website content.

After Stellwagen I dedicated myself to more freelance work in both photography and design. I photographed weddings and designed wedding invitations. I created and sold my own sticker designs and completed freelance projects to design logos and apparel.

I moved to Portland, ME in 2022 to continue pursuing a creative career in design and photography. At the end of 2023 I started my own creative company, Abby Clark Creative, to fully dedicate myself to my creative pursuits. I’m now selling my own art online and through local makers markets. I love connecting with the Portland community and hope to one day help more businesses visualize their brand.

I’m continuously expanding my creative skill set and am always eager to learn more. Currently I’m exploring the world of film photography and getting to know Procreate. I’m excited for what the future holds for my creative career and appreciate you for following along. Thanks for reading!
